A few photos from the archive

I have always been facinated by photography and as a youngling I read a lot about it, especially the cameras and at that time about the film. I knew by hart most of the film formats and the technology used in cameras. Mind you, analog cameras are actually quite complex mechanical creatures, especially the larger ones and its always facinated me how the mechanicas work with such precision and then of course came the digital age and it was facinating to watch it grow from barely useful toys to fully blown serious contenders. I started late doing any active shooting and there are various reasons for that which do not belong to this page. Lets just say it all started with one tiny digital camera I bought and it was love at first sight. I would roam my then home city and shoot every afternoon. Later on I got my first grown up digital camera and would spend hours on end shooting pretty much anything I found interesting and my hard drives filled up with image files with all sorts of motives. All and good so far but I wanted more. I started reading photographic theory and learned by heart the main principles as well as immercing myself in every photographic related literature I could get my hands on. Soon after it happened, I hit the ceiling with my digital camera so I decided to try out film and it was love at first sight. In film, especially black and white I found something magical which I cant really describe but the feeling is like the camera comes alive and part of you and what she sees you see and immerse yourself in. I started shooting alot on film as well as digital and as time passed I bought more film cameras and added to my arsenal. I bought film cameras of different format and as luck had it I was able to buy a large professional film camera which I spent countless hours with experimenting on different types of film and instant film as well. I love my collection of cameras and they are my girls. As Ive been lucky in purchasing cameras I have a wide variety of different cameras and they all have their distinctive style, analog and digital. Oh, the sweet sweet sound of the shutter when shooting, nothing really beats it when pointing the camera and compose the motive in an instant and shoot. Its orgasmic and then some so here I present some of my photos from the archive. They are shot over a period in time when I was busy in the nordic Ă–resund region and come mostly from Copenhagen and surroundings. I have fond memories of the city and regularly visit it. There are photos from places as well and in the future its quite possible Ill add to the gallery. So without further adue, here are some humble photos of mine.
