For all of you out there

As I sit down on a Friday night to scribble some words I am reminded of the fact that Xmas is almost upon us. Xmas has always been a special time for me cause it denotes a gathering of the family and we get to spend some precious time together eating good food, drinking whatever we like, watch films and spend time with good talks just about anything and everything. I have been lucky, more lucky than many people and mostly been able to spend Xmas with my close family in one way or the other. The Xmas week passes in a dreamy state of warm fuzziness and it leaves behind a sweet taste lasting for weeks. So yes, Im lucky and Im rich cause I have a wonderful family so in a way it is possible to say Im also quite privileged because lets not forget that while many of us are waiting for the xmas bells to ring there are many out there who are alone this Xmas, are working, are out on the street, in an area ravished by hunger or they find themselves at war with an enemy threating to end their existance. These people are not going to enjoy the warm fuzziness we have. They are going to be alone by themselves with no one to cuddle up and they are certainly not going to feel that special kind of Xmas spirit which binds so many of us together during the holidays. Lets take a moment in our Xmas blizz to remember these people and wish them a better life in the coming year. Lets remember that what we have is precious and we need to guard it with all our might because life gives and life takes at a moments notice. Lets treasure the moments we have with our family like the gems of life they are. We should be thankful for what we have and remember that this moment in time, the one just now is the perfect moment in time. Its here right now and the next second its gone. Lets live in the moment this Xmas and remember it for the rest of our lives. And by that I wish you all a very good Xmas and a happy new year. See you on the other side next year.
